I tried to upload a small .mov file (~788KB) to see how easy it would be upload video blog entries. I think if we could do this, it would really be helpful in increasing social presence in a course using primarily text-based, asynchronous CMC.
It may be just me, but it was taking too long (more than a couple of minutes)on high-speed (400 Mbps)! I am not sure how well this will work, also because the file sizes get so big so fast. The video I recorded was a matter of seconds.
