I am a learning sciences researcher specializing in online and blended higher education. My research interests include knowledge building, computer-supported collaborative learning, e-learning, design-based research, assessment, and social media.

I graduated from the Ph.D. program in the Curriculum Studies and Teacher Development Program, Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto. I completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in the Department of IT Management at the Copenhagen Business School, working on a large-scale European Commission-funded ICT (FP 7) project called Next Generation Teaching and Learning for Life (NEXT-TELL).

In the Office of Open Learning, I support University of Windsor faculty and staff in developing online and blended courses and programs. I collaborate with instructors to leverage technology tools such as Blackboard Collaborate, WordPress, and CLEW (Sakai-based LMS), to create innovative and exceptional teaching and learning experiences. Previously, I was Distance Education Course Development Coordinator at the Odette School of Business (Aug 2013 – Aug 2014) and Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education (Aug 2011 – Jul 2013).
